Why do u think my obgyn asked us to sex only every other day? When will be the best time for me to preg test?

My last period was last august 28,'07. I went to my obgyn one day late, that is why instead of taking my med on the 29th she asked me to start taking 2tablets of clomiphene citrate from 30th to september 3, after finish she asked me to take another med, 1tablet of duphaston once a day from 4 to 10 which i all follow. The only thing we don't and can't follow closely was her advice to sex from september 4 doing it every other day. My hubby just came from overseas last september 3. We don't have sex for 3 months that we missed each other so much. We are working to have a second baby. Why do u think my obgyn as us to sex only every other day? When will be the right time for me to preg test?

She asked you to have sex every other day instead of every day so that the sperm in your husband's semen can be replenished. It takes more than a day to do that. If you have sex every other day during your fertile period, you have a better chance of getting pregnant. If you have sex every day, your husband can run out of sperm.
